Master of Computer Application
Computer Applications is one of the thrust areas in Science & Technology. The Department of Computer Applications was established in the Year 1998. The skills, techniques, concepts imparted to the students are modern and contemporary and the students, therefore, would definitely provide talent bringing a fine blend of exposure to modern technical practices and Indian human values. MCA programme is divided into six semesters. The first five semesters provide strong foundation in theory as well as practical. In the sixth semester students have to go for six months industrial training on live projects.
The Department has a well-equipped laboratory which is constantly updated with the latest computers. The students in the department have the unique opportunity of working in various development environments like MS-DOS, LINUX, MS WINDOWS (9x/XP/NT/2000). The students also have an opportunity to work on Internet Development tools among their visual & non-visual ones. The department encourages and motivates its students for organizing and participating in the seminars at local and national level.
